New Orleans East Satin Dolls Performing Arts School of Dance A Legacy of Discipline, Sisterhood & Shine Founded with heart, purpose, and a passion for youth development, the New Orleans East Satin Dolls—also known as N.O.E. Satin Dolls Dance—has become a pillar of strength, empowerment, and creativity in our community. More than just a dance school, we are a nonprofit organization devoted to uplifting and guiding young dancers, teaching technique, confidence, character, and leadership.
Under Karen Jordan's direction, our studio offers a structured, family-oriented environment where dancers thrive both on and off the stage. From energetic beginners to seasoned competitors, every student becomes part of the Satin Dolls legacy. Satin Stars: Where Tiny Dancers Begin to Shine. Our Satin Stars program introduces dancers ages 4–8 to the joy of movement in a nurturing and fun environment. We teach rhythm, teamwork, and self-expression with patience, positivity, and play—one leap at a time.
Our Mission Empower youth through the performing arts by instilling discipline, encouraging excellence, and creating a lasting sisterhood. We use dance as a powerful tool to build up the next generation of confident, purpose-driven young women.
